The origins of Ashton Gate can be traced back to the late 19th century. Initially established as a cricket ground in 1884, it transitioned into a football venue in the early 1900s. The first recorded football match took place in 1904, and since then, the stadium has undergone numerous transformations and became the home of Bristol Bears in 2014. It has a capacity of 26,462.
