About Us

I am a painter and a sports enthusiast (some say cricket nut). I’ve long been a lover of maps (travelling to cricket grounds before satnav) and through my painting, which is all abstract, I started to play around with de-constructing maps of stadia and their surroundings. During a drawn-out period of sickness that rendered me house-bound, my hobby morphed into a love affair. I am happy to say that the sickness passed but the obsession remained – the fruits of which are Mapadium.

Each print is painstakingly created by me using open street map. If there’s a stadium that you love which you can’t find here, do please get in touch to make a suggestion.
